Parousia’s second show at the Whisky a go-go was on Sunday, November 20, 1988. We were moved up a notch to lap at the crumbs from the Friday & Saturday night crowd. Yes we ate them… we ate them and were proud to have eaten them.
We brought back the same level of intensity as in our previous show a month earlier.
We all played our best and it showed. Afterdark, (the Management Company for bands playing at the Whisky) was pleased and the sound engineer also liked our music. He said it was ‘fun’ to mix.
A month later, Night Life Magazine in Buffalo published a profile of our band letting our fans back home know that Parousia was putting forth its best effort in representing Western NY talent.
We did well on this night and as a reward, the club moved us into a Saturday night prime-time slot although we had to wait until spring to get it.
By that time we had many more shows under our belt and a new keyboardist, Marty Leggett from Reno Nevada.
