On the video “Land Of The Lost“:

Parousia’s song “Land of the Lost” well reflected the angst going on within the band at the time it was written.
We watched many friends leave the depressed conditions in Buffalo, in hopes of finding a better life in places like Atlanta, Texas or L.A. The truth of the song reveals that although you can get up and leave town to try and find happiness, you can not escape yourself. To find true happiness you must look within and stop chasing superficial change and misinformation, as they will only distract you from the core issues.

Our band was struggling with its own major decisions… whether to stay in town or head to Toronto, New York City or Hollywood to pursue the next level of our dreams. As the story goes, we chose Hollywood but as you can guess it was not an easy decision to make.
